How it works

  1. 01

    Upload a stereo track

Drag & drop a stereo mix in MP3, WAV or FLAC. Mono files work too — the centre keeps everything.

  2. 02

    AI separates centre vs wide

Mid/side decomposition splits the correlated centre content from the decorrelated wide content.

  3. 03

    Download centre and wide stems

Preview each stem and download the center and wide tracks as lossless WAV or FLAC.

FAQ

What is phantom-center extraction?

It splits a stereo track into its centre (correlated) content and its wide (side) content using mid/side decomposition. The centre usually holds lead vocals, bass and kick; the sides hold the wide stereo instruments.

How is it different from vocal removal?

Vocal removal uses an AI model to isolate a single singer. Phantom-center extraction is a model-free mid/side split — it separates everything centred from everything wide, so bass and kick land in the centre track too.

What do I get — how many files?

Two stems: center and wide. Mono input yields the full signal as center and silence as wide, since a mono file has no stereo field to split.

Is it free to try?

Yes. You can preview the centre and wide results free with no account required. Full-length tracks and lossless WAV/FLAC output use credits.
